Actually the sport needs to be brought down and rebuilt to morph into every other sports league. Burn it down and start over! Every other credible sports league in the US and UK has this little thing called OVERSIGHT. You can't use steroids in the NFL or NBA or you will be out for life. The NBA had a ref about 20 yrs ago that was fixing games and he got sent to federal prison. I'm quite sure you UK boys can tell me something about accountability in soccer. No not even close the NFL gives you a 4 game suspension which is a a shade less than a quarter of a season. MLB has the harshest punishment with a half season, the NBA and NHL for years never tested and some of the biggest stars in the NBA were obvious users. In the NHL fighters for years abused steroids for bulking up.

Boxing's problem is there is no set rules from jurisdiction to jurisdiction so fighters and rogue promoters can run here and there to fight and promote them.

This was a contest I was looking forward to. So much so, that I watched a few Eubank Jr. and Benn fights days prior to their contest. Based on what I witnessed, I was strongly leaning towards Benn. Then, at the last minute came the news that the contest was terminated due to banned PED by way of Benn. What a ****ing bummer!

What happens to those fighters who showed up clean for their "undercard" fights and will surely not be paid because a "Headline" fighter tested positive for a banned substance? This is brutally unfair and needs to be addressed.

Why not stipulate a clause whereby, if a "Headline" fighter tests positive for a banned substance, he is liable for the incurred expenses of every Undercard fighter who shows up Clean for their contest?

That will put "The Fear of God" in many a would-be-cheats
