  • Comments Thread For: Report: Conor Benn Being Investigated Over Claims of Second Test Failure

According to a report by the Daily Mail, rising welterweight star Conor Benn is being investigated over claims he failed a second drug test - which the paper indicates took place prior to the drug test failure which ultimately canceled last weekend's planned pay-per-view fight with Chris Eubank Jr.

The beleaguered Conor Benn is being investigated for a reported claim of a second drug violation earlier this year for clomifene. If Benn is found guilty, he could be banned from the sport for over four years.
What’s troubling is the new claim against Benn from earlier this year is for the same clomifene drug, and yet nothing happened.

A longer suspension or more than four years for Benn (21-0, 14 KOs) would remove the possibility of him fighting Chris Eubank Jr, and would see him not return to the ring until he was in his early 30s.

This means Peddie HGHearn and Matchroid Boxing we're successful at covering up a failed test and must be held accountable.

What fight did he test positive for? And how was he allowed to fight even with the positive test?

Same reason that PEDvetkin was allowed to fight after he popped and brutally knocked out Johann Duhaupas in an UNSANCTIONED fight.

The only question now: will Conor Benn surpass the world record first set by Jarrell 'Big Baby' Miller who failed THREE tests (and is back fighting BTW)?

Must have been Algieri or Van Heerden. Algieri recently came out saying it's widely known that Conor is a drug cheat and that he was blown away by Conor's 4 month body transformation.

Lou, I just read that too. He said the transformation was unreal

What unsanctioned fight was Benn in?

I'd guess he tested dirty twice for the Eubank Jr fight? Only way it makes sense.

Most of these guys are on something, but being the small petty man that I am and with my personal dislike for Benn, I hope they throw the book at this goofball
