Floyd might not have been fighting the most dangerous opponent in the ring... but 100% dominated him. At no point in the fight did Mayweather look touchable.

People can complain about his opponents all they want but it doesn't detract from his abilities in the ring. If you watch his fights and think he's anything but the best fighting in the ring today then you're crazy. It's not an insult to pac to say that Floyd's abilities in the ring are unmatched.
We'll see when he tests those skills. It's been years since he's done that.

Its a pointless conversation really as you are more hell bent on tearing people down rather than trying to understand other perspectives.
Oh right yeh I forgot I was a hater. How many pairs of tap shoes do you have?

Pitching a shutout in which Marquez was clearly outmatched from the minute Floyd through a punch isn't a test? It's not that the test was too easy; but Floyd is simply above the grading curve. There's a reason he's undefeated and looks fantastic in the ring; it's not luck and purely who he fights.

His abilities are unmatched. Say it with me.

Lyle Fitzsimmons is 10000000% correct in this post! I can't wait until Pacman gets past Cotto...He will DEFINITELY get his ass handed to him by Floyd. I know for a fact that Pacman and Freddie are scared to fight him now. They will never admit it, but Floyd will embarrass pacman the same way he just did against JMM. I am definitely going to put my points on it, and I will head to vegas to put my money up. I just hope everyone still believes that Pacman is better at that point in time so that I can make the most out of my money with the odds.

If anyone here really, honestly, and truthfully believes that Pacman can beat Floyd after that performance, then your boxing credit is no longer valid to me, and like Roger would say...."YOU DON'T KNOW **** ABOUT BOXIN'"

It isn't hard to be above the grading curve when the teacher gives you every advantage against a student a couple grades lower. Who didn't see this coming? Frankly, I expected Floyd to stop him late so I wasn't quite as blown away with the performance as you were. And I'll be happier when he begins taking standardized tests with opponents in his class.

Why he just can't answer the question when he was asked if why he chose Marquez as his opponent and why he didn't follow the maximum weight limit instead chose to violate it?

For me, Pacquiao is still number one and Mayweather should need to do a lot of things to regain the reputation.
yep.. pac is still #1 cause floyd floyd stacked the deck against a ****in LW. he gets no credit for that win.

Ahhh, I'm glad you said the bold part. Who is a legit opponent for Floyd that you can actually see being a favorite against Floyd? There is not a fighter active in the sport today who would be a legitimate opponent who you can put in front of Floyd that he wouldn't be the odds on favorite to win. None. Zero. Zilch.

And that's why everybody will complain no matter who he beats anytime he fights. He beats pac: Pac was too small. He beats Mosley: Mosley lost to Cotto. He beats Cotto: Cotto lost to Margarito. He beats Margarito: Margarito beat Cotto. He Beats Clottey: he lost to Cotto.

Being the favorite and being competitive are two different things. You're glad I said the bolded part? Good, here's what else I thought before the fight: Mosley is his toughest test. I must be right.

Im going to assume you are talking about welterweight.

Pretty sure Judah was a threat, Hatton(before the fight) was a viable threat in most peoples eyes, regardless of hindsight.

Its not in his class but he moved up for Oscar which you are overlooking. Oscar at 154 was not a BS fight and t was tough for Floyd.

I will go on record and say he hasnt fought a murderers row of welterweights. There is still plenty for him to do at WW for sure, and I want to see it.

It doesnt change the fact that he was outstanding at all the lower weights he fought at and HE DID fight excellent fighters and exciting fights there. He has hardly ever take a clean punch, never been hurt, knocked down(debatable but regardless). I dont see how you cant say hes the best fighter out there.

There are people more exciting and you dont have to love him but the guy is good.
Never been hurt?!!! Have you seen his fight with Corley? Never been knocked down?! See Mayweather-Judah Round 1. If you can't see the knockdown in real time, there are numerous videos in youtube where the sequence was shown in slowmo. Now, before you make this ignorant assertions, be sure of what you type or you will be labeled as an idiot.
