DO YOU KNOW WHO MARQUEZ IS???
DO YOU KNOW WHAT WEIGHTCLASSES ARE THERE FOR?

    Delusional nutthugger.
Anyone can look good against someone two weightclasses below them.

Mayweather is a great fighter but until he fights someone his own size he wont get credit from most people.

Without dipping my toe into the message boards and other fan forums since the final bell of his fight with Juan Manuel Marquez Saturday night/Sunday morning, I can pretty much assume that as a prevailing sentiment.

      But you know what?

He's a real-life Satan incarnate who can, ahem... fight like hell.

In pitching an absolute, complete and comprehensive shutout of Marquez – the critics' pre-comeback choice as the world's No. 2 fighter – in his first ring action since 2007, the Pretty Boy now known as "Money" has answered one question with dominant certainty.

He, and not Manny Pacquiao or any other 21-month stand-in, is the world's best fighter.

      Don't believe it?

Watch the tape. Or re-watch it, as the case may be.

And over the course of 36 minutes, find me one thing that says otherwise.

      One flaw. One error.

One ***** in the armor that truly indicates – regardless of the fact different styles make different fights – Pacquiao will do any better when he gets his chance next year.

But before you do, though, I'll save you all a little time.

      Don't bother.

      It doesn't exist.

Nowhere in a stretch of 12 rounds did Marquez do one specific thing or take one specific tack that caused the unflappable 32-year-old even a moment's worth of consternation. [details]
Wow this article is the equivalent of a fluffer. Yes we all know he's incredibly skillful, we all have eyes (hear that Floyd nuthuggers he's great now run along and go get your tax lien on).

The one thing I don't hear any of his fans bring up(out of there own self delusion) is that the man truly has yet to face a legitimate welterweight. I'm talking yes Shane Mosley, Paul Williams, Cotto...even a tuneup with Berto or Collazo and not making a lightweight come up two divisions. We're done talking about catch weights or glorified exhibition bouts, but since becoming a welterweight who of any stature has Mayweather fought?

Say what you want but it still doesnt change the fact that Floyd is the best fighter in the world.

I'd give Mayweather credit if his fights weren't sideshow events. As it stands, I have to give it to Pacman for taking on real challenges.

And Pacman's comp has sadly been watered down as well. ODLH and Hatton were both past there prime (Hatton peaked on the night he fought Kostya), and Diaz was not the real LW champ (ironically enough, it was JMM who wound up becoming Champ of the division).

Even still, Pacman fights are more real to boxing competition imo. He gets credit for the Cotto fight as well.

That was a rubbish article. The question on my mind why is mayweather No. 1 after beating one of manny's victims, while manny himself is acting like a p4p champ fighting the WW king? who's mayweather going beat next, the guy who knocked manny out as a 110 pound 18yrd

When is the best fighter in the world going to actually test himself amongst the best in his "own" weight division, I.E. Mosley, P.Will, Cotto? All I hear about is how great he is. Yes we already ****ing know that, but when is the "best fighter on the planet" gonna actually show up in his own division and prove it in the ring against a legitimate threat? Instead of having to hear nuthuggers preach the gospel because he beat up a lightweight.

Not yet Mr. Fitzimmons, not until he beats Pacman...

but one things is for sure

Floyd Jr's skills and ego is inversely proportional to the size of his balls
