He's not wrong, though. That's what commissions do to big name fighters who get caught....they draw the situation out for months and THEN decide to "discipline" the fighter with a 6-month suspension...Canelo comes to mind after he tested positive leading into the rematch with Golovkin. He fought in 2017, got caught afterwards, received a "suspension" and was back in the ring against Golvokin a year later (to date).

Again, they milked the situation for hits, engagement, and to let the dust blow over, but they did their due diligence by "suspending" him. Though he cleared his name later on, the situation still played out that way- 1 year out of the ring. Didn't he get knee surgery or somethin during that time? What a vacation, huh? Lol

In 2018 Eddie Hearn & Dazn's selling points to America were: PPV is dead, 10 bucks a month, AJ is the HW monster and we have all the belts, Canelo has 9 fights, Canelo v 3G III, we've got all the MWs, Devin v Ryan on deck. Fast forward to 2022 and their selling points are: PPV is here to stay, 150 bucks a yr, AJ got smoked twice and has no belts, Canelo is gone until May, 3G and all the other MWs are gone, Devin left us and Ryan doesn't like to fight. Seriously, why are they still here. GBP is not enough to keep them afloat because all of the fights GBP needs are at PBC. Dazn doesn't even really have a selling point for the UK because AJ is beltless and they don't have any credible HWs for him to fight and Conor is about to get suspended probably for a year, and when he comes back he's going to be tested out the wazoo especially if he fights Americans (which was always the plan to make him a star in the US). He's going to get exposed when he's not on DA-JUICE. Now that's all up in smoke.
