I think what is unclear is Usyk’s timeline. How much time does he need? When will he be available? Exactly when is early next year? Jan, Feb, March or April? If it is spring then I got no problem with a Dec 3 stay busy fight but if Usyk can fight by February then there is no reason to have a tuneup & risk a bad cut or injury. People have being calling for undisputed since Wilder & Joshua were undefeated champions. We are so close now & could have an undisputed champion by spring. After that nobody cares if the belts get stripped because then there is the real champion & the paper champions after that. 2003 was our last undisputed champion. It will be 20 years…

usyk was never going to be ready in dec after the war and joshua fight so if fury wants a tune up stay busy fight this year he deserves that & make the big one first half next year sometime, sounds like a plan

Fury knew Usyk would not be ready for December. After a 12 round fight, Fury with all his experience in the game 'Knew the fight date would be a issue'.

But yes, why has he not fought since April anyway? Fury has not fought, because he apparently retired. But it is clear now that he was not retired, it was a game 'Tyson Fury has created this entire situation, both with Joshua and Usyk'.

If Fury 1000% wanted ether of those fights next, he could just move the dates.

If Fury wants a easier ticking over fight in the meantime, I am not really bothered. And I don't mind the Chisora fight. It will be a intriguing event.

Another misinformed comment by this forum's clown.

The Dec 17 date in Saudi was known by both teams, Usyk himself decided to scupper it for reasons.

After this, Fury wanted a tune-up in November to give time for an undisputed fight in Feb/March.

He compromised to Dec 3 to give GayJ no excuses, but they thought Fury was bluffing like most of the morons on here

Tyson has no threatening mandatory, that's the way he likes it, but the opposite is the case for Oleksandr. So you tell me why would Tyson want all that work? When he can fight 'Diamond-Boy' Charr or 'Del-Boy' Chisora on PPV? You know the Brits complain but buy those 3 dollar shty PPV, billed with local English-Bums ; just look how they simp on any Fury thread, it's embarrassing. Thanks for reading.

Usyk's timeline was apparently late Feb to Early March and Warren stated that is fine as Fury simply wants a tune up before unifying and Fury should be ready after December.

Considering the AJ fight is off the only way Fury's tune up poses a risk is if he fights Joyce.

Fury never held all 4 belts at one time. He has never been undisputed. You don't get to keep belts if you "retired." Facts are important. I like Fury and would favor him to beat Usyk. However, when he retired the first time around, he relinquished his belts (under a cloud of drug abuse and PEDs). It's not sanctioning body politics. If anybody was playing games, it was Fury.
