Callum Smith looks good at 175

He just knocked out his last 2 opponents.

So good, that his "performance" against Clenelo looks su****ious.

Much like pitty-patter Kovalev, big men scared to exchange with a guy whose shots were bouncing off Bivol

When you look at the size of him, you'd think 175 is going to be far better for him than 168. Nash would like to see him fight Craig Richards and seeing her he looks vs how Buatsi did. Nash out

It was clear that Smith needed to move up to 175, and? I think the amount of time he was given to prepare for Alvarez effected his performance.

He was only given 5-6 weeks preparation.

Smith still would of been beaten by Alvarez, but maybe he would of performed a tad better with a more optimal training camp.

So at 175 Smith is most likely stronger and his training is more comfortable. But he has not fought any of the elite fighters of the division yet.

He crashed the weight for the Canelo fight. Didn’t have enough time to prepare. Not saying he would have won with a full camp but he would have performed better.

Wonder why him and Benavidez never fought?
