Comments Thread For: Tyson Fury: Derek Chisora is Every Bit as Dangerous as Usyk

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is still planning to return to the ring in the month of December. There were negotiations to make a voluntary defense against domestic rival Anthony Joshua - but their negotiations fell apart.

Fury and his pull offers and now this. What a headcase he is.

Usyk: 0 losses, former undisputed cruiserweight champion, reigning WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO/Ring/TBRB heavyweight champion
Chisora: 12 losses, including two to Fury and one to Usyk, never won any legitimate titles or championships

Can't quite put my finger on it, but there seems to be a difference between them.

If Fury is going to have a easier lower level fight, then this is a good match up.

I don't mind the fight, as a event? It is a exciting match up. There is a story and theme between the fighters.

And Chisora would of beaten Uysk, as I think he was beating Usyk before he fatigued 'Which then allowed Uysk to create distance and box from mid-long range which is his favored zone of offense'.

Otherwise, Usyk at that stage in his heavyweight career, did not really have a answer for Chisora pressure and inside game etc.

But that was then, this is now. If Chisora is to fight Tyson Fury, I think he needs to team back up with David Haye. In some form, David Haye in my opinion should be apart of his training camp 'Not only will that make the match up more exciting, but Haye did seem to influence Chisora positively' Haye will not accept Chisoa just turning up to put in a good effort 'Chisora has to come to win, no matter how difficult that may seem'.

I could be wrong but don't think Fury is fighting on December. He's just dropping names to stay in the spotlight.

Chisora is one of my favorite fighters but he has no business fighting Fury at this point even tho I don't mind him getting another big pay day.

Yes, Chisora is on a great run. Draw vs Uysk, beat Parker 118-109 in fight 1, lost the rematch by 2-3 points due to 3 flash knockdowns, then won all 12 rounds vs (salty, no burger) Pulev. He has earned the fight and is definitely above Joshua at this moment in time with Joshua coming in off two 12-0 losses to the guy Chisora drew with (at worst) Cash in

Chisora has an entertaining style and gives it his all, but he lost to Fury twice, and pretty one-sided.

So I don't quite understand if he gets a third fight with Fury, and for the Wbc title mind you.

Yes, he gave Usyk a good fight, but he clearly didn't win. Why not fight Joyce, he's as fresh as a daisy even though he just beat Parker. But that won't happen this year of course.
