Comments Thread For: Haney on Kambosos Being Quiet: I'll Beat Him Whether He's Talking Or Not!

George Kambosos Jr. believed wholeheartedly that his reign atop the 135-pound division was simply in its infancy stages. Having dethroned former unified champion, Teofimo Lopez, at the tail end of 2021, the Australian native viewed Devin Haney as a somewhat innocuous challenge.

I'd be surprised if the outcome is any different than the first fight. Kambosos is a counter-puncher and Haney is better at that than he is.

Haney running his mouth way to much. It's not like he beat Kombosos to a pulp, he pity padded his way to a boring victory, like most of his fights, and I'm sure he will do the same in this one. As soon as Haney fights a big hitter, he will lose, that's why they kept him away from those types of fighters through out his career. I will give him credit for going overseas for the fight, that's not always easy, but let's take it down a notch, Kombosos is nothing special....

Haney's style of hugging and ducking too low would be very difficult for any opponent to beat.

Haney should look to improve on his first win against Kambosos, he should go for the stoppage win this time.

Kambosos might not be special, but he shocked the boxing world when he dropped, and busted up big mouth Lopez' face, taking all of his belt's yo boot.

It's semantics, Haney isn't "beating" anybody, he out boxes them. If he was beating them, they wouldn't be in any condition for a rematch.

It's not easy for most Americans. Kambosos fought many of his fights outside of Australia. It's a huge deal if you are American.

Haney is untalented PR merchant. He is marketing product.

                  - Hugging all night long.
                  - Ducking into knees and canvas all night long.
                  - Weak punch power.

His only good attiribute is his jab. And, his jab didn't get tested against a slipper yet.

He is not very hard to beat. I mentioned the gameplan which is should get performed by Kambosos in 38382 posts.
