    Canelo > Ward

ward won the super middle tournament which is huge but didn’t leave the town to make it happen. How that happened when Ward isn’t even a draw in Oakland is beyond me ?

Wards best win is arguably a weight drained Dawson and a fresh out of rehab Kovalev in the rematch. He lost the first fight.

We all know that most of the best fights for the past 60, 70 years, has always been between mexicans, or a Mexican has been involved. For the record, benavidez was born in USA, Arizona if I recall correctly, he might not speak Spanish correctly.
i agree, but like you said, Benavides is a second generation Mexican American. I think Canelo is referring more to Mexicans that are still based in Mexico, like Chavez jr. btw, it was after the Chavez fight he made this statement because he hated the way it divided the country and forged a domestic rivalry. He says he wants to unite Mexico, not divide… take that fue what it’s worth.

unlike you, I think he has no problem fighting benavidez and if he didn’t fook up and lost the title for dumb shiet, the fight would’ve happened. Time will tell tho.

Two fouls, one arguably loss and one legit win. Ward is GOAT lol.
        How was Froch drained?

Ward does come across as bitter towards Canelo.
Strange as he always preaches about staying in his lane.
Just be satisfied with your career, don't throw shade on somebody else

Mayweather wasn’t in his prime at 36 years old. He was still elite but a far cry from the fighter that whooped in corrales and Gatti. Connect the dots.

Nobody has prime names on their resume any more in Boxing. If these guys enter the sport at age 20, why fight at age 30? That's only 10 years to build the PPV buys of the fight. If you wait until age 35 or age 40, now you get to build the PPV buys for 15 or 20 years before fighting. More PPV buys.

That's why the only way to save Boxing is to stop watching PPVs. Only watch the free fights. People blame Floyd for killing Boxing, but it's actually when PPV buys started getting high in general that Boxing died. When they could get millions of free viewers for the biggest fights, but only a 100k PPV buys even for a Mike Tyson fight or another big star, then there was no point marinating the fights for PPV, and they would just make them on HBO when guys were in their primes. But once they realized that if they marinated fights for 15 years, they could get millions of PPV buys, they stopped making good fights. Floyd was part of this but not the only one. There were many others like Oscar.

Only watch the free fights if you want Boxing to go back to how it used to be.

He's a dumb kid for sure, he should have been professional and keep his status, then he wouldn't need to be begging for a check. Still, I think canelo doesn't have too many options at 168. In a couple of years, maybe sooner, he will have another benavidez, faster and with much better skills lurking around those 168/175 division, I'm talking about Morell Jr. I think that next year if benavidez stay at 168, he will be fighting the Cuban, maybe sooner if they get rid of shields. Be safe.
