Only that makes no sense because Saunders was stripped of the middleweight title before the Andrade fight for testing positive . But Canelo v Saunders was for the Super Middleweight title …and…

He didn’t win the super-middleweight title until after that PED thing and he was still promoted by Frank Warren at the time during all of this. He was stripped of the 160 title and later won the 168 title when he was still with Frank Warren.

this was in 2018, it was the first card Dazn put on.
canelo was signed a while later. At the time Eddie wanted to delivery a massive fight in the US and we ended up with Andrade vs some tribesman.

Billy Joe Saunders was actually still a Frank Warren fighter until 2019, He was still contract under Frank Warren for the Andrade fight which never happened. After he got stripped of the 160 title, he went on to win the 168 title while still promoted by Frank Warren

I'm not really in the loop regarding this fight, but it sounds strange if WADA and UKAD cannot be trusted. We are talking olympic testing agencies.

But if both parties agreed on VADA then the case is open and shut. The point is that this is a binary thing. Either you're positive or not.

Vada is voluntary, it's like having extra protection just in case the other guy is popping dirty and vada is not tied to a commission. basically when a fighter pops dirty with vada, it should be entirely at the discretion of the opposing fighter to decide his/her next move.
as soon as commissions meddle in it, then vada is just the same as wada/ukad and it means commissions can tamper.

eddie's got all the criticism for this Conor benn situation. His side of the argument is 'ukad and bbboc have no say in this, vada is voluntary' 'eubank and wasserman are okay with it, so what do you want me to do?'. Likewise Ben Davis has also questioned if bbboc will end up with a lawsuit on their hands if they cancel the fight.

btw with the bjs vs andrade situation, frank warren had threatened to sue aswell but then he gave up because 'its an eddee earn card, blame him'.

The issue is, unlike USADA, VADA is Powerless they can't even reveal Positive Results where as if USADA Pops you they shut everything down with no excuses of "It Was Just A Small Trace". VADA should be allowed to reveal adverse findings Immediately instead to Promoters wanting to Hide Results until after the fight so Promoters and Sanctioning Bodies can make money. Not a F^CK given about the Safety of Fighters clearly if you're willing to put them in with a dirty fighter
