what a reptilian muthercker this guy is

sad thing is no journalist will confront him with the clip and ask for his take because they are too afraid of being blacklisted for future fights

        Shocker! Boxing promoter is hypocrite

        who’d have thought that?

The difference with Eddie Hearn is for some reason he has very loyal fans who are totally blind to his lies and hypocrisy

Anyway that’s the beauty of Internet videos, If you’re as slimy as Eddie Hearn, It’s going to come back to bite you because it’s always there to be pulled up again.

This is why having some knowledge of actual contexts matters.

this was the BJS vs Andrade situation right?

if i remember this correctly, initially Eddie Hearn went out the of the way to defend BJS. He argued that Billy had passed the Ukad tests and that the whole 'out of competition' rule with Vada was the issue since they allow it out of competition but are now moving the goalposts on when competition begins compared to other testing agencies. He then argued that the MSAC should sanction the fight on the basis that they follow WADA, not VADA and ukad is Wada etc. Yet being american and likely old white guys without a braincell between them, they just suspended BJS.
At the time frank warren was a no show and had done nothing as a promoter for billy. He piped up later mumbing and groaning, quite literally blaming eddie hearn.

This was eddie's response and it included a bit where he started pointing out that he had defended billy the best he could but 'what can i do? he failed a vada test'. something along those lines.

In fact bjs's father later dissed eddie claiming eddie was the one who caused the suspension and that they cheated billy out of his belt. This is the sort of sh** queensbury and mtk lot were feeding these guys. another instance of this sort of thing at play was when Francis Warren was spending time with Eddie Hearn during the Andrade vs Williams fight. Francis asked eddie if 'what happens to canelo if billy beats him?' Eddie responds 'well then it's over. Francis goes back Saunders and tells him 'they are rooting for you to lose'. Bily's dad made a huge issue out of it before the canelo fight.

so yeh, eddie's original arguments about vada and ukad testing where one passes all the ukad but fails a vada test, were consistent. 'they follow wada, ukad is wada, vada is only advisory'.
this is the problem now. vada was supposed to bring transparency but the decision would be for the fighters to make at their own discretion. Vada was used to rule out corruption from Wada/ukad where they could fail you and ban you from fighting at will (something they could do if they had a vandetta against a fighter).

Why sign for VADA testing and then ignore the result?

as far as i know, it was done because Wada and ukad could not be trusted entirely, with the information concealed by the commission and testing agency in the event of a failled test or even the otherway round where they could have an agenda against a fighter and then tamper with the result.

normally Vada release the news straight away so neither party is out of the loop, they know what's going on. I don't know why they didnt on this occasion.

I'm not really in the loop regarding this fight, but it sounds strange if WADA and UKAD cannot be trusted. We are talking olympic testing agencies.

But if both parties agreed on VADA then the case is open and shut. The point is that this is a binary thing. Either you're positive or not.

I don't remember the exact timeline exactly but Canelo pops up over at DAZN and expressed interest in BJS's belt. Convenient to kill the fight so BJS doesn't take that Andrade defeat vs getting his eye busted up and Canelo taking the belt. Can't trust promoters and foresight.
