Mosley also turned down a fight with floyd years earlier because he "had to go to the dentist"

Arums excuses for not making the Floyd-Pac fight in 2009 was that "an entire new stadium needs to be built" and 5 years later they just fought in the same MGM grand.

Pac and Cotto were far more shopworn than Floyd. That is the truth.

Mosley claimed to call out Floyd at lightweight and Floyd doesn't deny it.

Floyd made every excuse to duck Manny for years.

If Floyd would have just beat the best guys in their prime these threads wouldn't get made so often, and you wouldn't have to waste so many posts defending a guy who is a shameless cherrypicker.

Mosley moved from 135 to 147 in 1999.

Floyd started boxing 1997, and was at 130 until 2002. His first 130 title win was in 1998

BOTH guys were well televised and documented back then. When exactly did mosley "call him out" at 135? they never even fought at 135 at the same time.

Floyd was still defending his titles at 130 when Mosley in his 3rd fight at 147 was fighting DLH in 2000. Floyd eventually moved up and beat them BOTH.

Mosley said he called Floyd direct and Floyd said no he was chasing somebody's title defense streak, so Mosley went to 147 to chase Oscar those were his words.

This is Mosley's version I thnk your timeline is a little off:

Q: After you challenged him, a week later, Mayweather wished you good luck in your career which seemed to indicate hes not interested in fighting you. He also mentioned that he challenged you twice, and he claims that you turned him down back in 1999 and again in 2006. Did you really turn him down?

A: Like I said, hes really a liar. He likes to lie a lot. In 1999 theres a film where hes fighting in Michigan when he was fighting at 130 and I was fighting at 135, and I asked him, like when HBO does the prefight analysts talk to the fighters before they fight. I talked to him, and hopefully its recorded somewhereI think it was on FXI asked him, Are you planning on coming up to lightweight to fight me? And he said, No, He had no intention of coming to lightweight to fight me, he wanted t beat Carlos Monzons record. He didnt want to come to lightweight. Thats when I jumped from lightweight to welterweight to fight Oscar De La Hoya. That was the first incident that hes talking about, so he turned me down in 1999.

Doesn't matter because Floyd only gets half the credit for overmarinating fights with all of those guys. The whole ww division was fighting each other while Floyd ducked them claiming he was on vacation. What is the excuse this week. Last week he was nursing his hurt hands after grueling fights with a faded Oscar and Hatton.

Floyd wasn't interested in unifying at welterweight. That was hard work. Floyd always wants that easy work. No surprise he is fighting at zero risk these days.

        Insert more Floyd excuses here:

Mosley has no proof of his claim but he is on HBO on in front of millions telling everyone he could not fight floyd when they were both at the SAME weight because he had a toothache.

Mosley fought Phillip Holiday then said he had "the runs" in the post fight in-ring interview
