I just saw the radio Raheem interview with Eddie Hearn. Eddie said they have known about the failed vada test for 2 weeks.

Now it makes sense as to why Eubank Sr was talking about pulling his son out of the fight all last week

if you're Eubank and the fight is allowed to go on...

      The Price Just Went Up!
-Add a Couple More Millions To Your Purse
-No Longer Have To Make The Weight Agreed Upon

If not then don't fight a guy who was Taking Something to give himself an Advantage. The fact that they knew about it for 2 Weeks is very concerning actually and just continues to expose the WORLD WIDE Corruption in Boxing. The $$$ is always the Botton Line for these Greedy People

Fight will likely be allowed to go on I'm sure. Old Barry Hearn working the Phones using his Connections to help his Boy Eddie out I'm sure. Somehow Someway fight will be allowed to continue.

OMG Imagine if this was some other fighters, My Goodness some of you F^CKS would be calling for a Lifetime Ban!

If this fight is allowed to happen, it will be a slap in the face of every fighter who has ever dedicated their life to the sport of Boxing and never tried to murder an opponent by taking steroids.

The UK anti-doping agency passed Benn on all tests, and that's the agency the British Boxing Board recognises, so how could they call it off?

They can have this fight as Eubank's team already checked that there's no abnormal testosterone level in Conor.
Why would a pro MALE athlete have a female fertility drug in his system in the first place? You fell silent on that one huh? You know he was doping it's obvious look into what that drug does and it will give you all the answers you are clearly avoiding.

This news is probably more exciting than the fight was ever going to be.

Hearn is a dodgey POS. Big baby Miller was ruined after getting popped before fighting Joshua, they need to keep the same energy with Benn.

Brock lesnar was suspended in the UFC for a year when he failed for this exact same substance. Apparently, this is serious enough to ban fighters in the past. Eddie hearn is trying to get the fight to happen desperately and trying to pull strings. This is a bad look for his promotion, dazn and himself. He has done this with the dilian whyte failed drug test as well. He lambasted big baby miller for failing the drug test, but protects his UK fighters when the same thing happened. This fight is a dumb fight to begin with anyway, now it is getting even dumber. Haha...

The problem I have is the lack of reference here, and I cannot be alone. Where is the detailed write up on this chemical and the testing parameters? They say it is a "trace amount". What exactly does that mean? When they test for substances, what is the threshold for "trace amount" and obvious cheating? And why is a "trace amount" even a term? Is there a point it is not scientifically accurate so the test could be wrong, or such a small amount it is above the point of error but not enough to be conclusive? What exactly does Clomifene do in an athlete? Since he was likely NOT trying to have a child, why use it? Is it a masking agent? Improve stamina? Improve the athletes ability to gain weight?

To me, there are 2 levels of banned substances: 1) Those that give you an advantage in training or recovery from an injury, and (2) those that increase either your physical strength or energy level on fight night. The first to me has some wiggle room. There can be fines, purse penalties, or suspensions depending on the levels found. The second level is pure and simple cheating in a sport where the idea is to hurt each other to begin with, Regardless of "trace amount" of these chemicals, a fighter HAS to be suspended when it is discovered in his system or banned for repeated offenses.

But without an impartial knowledge of what Benn actually was gaining from Clomifene or how much was actually found versus what is considered a fail, or why he passed other tests from other organizations and if they even look for this chemical, I got nothing but questions and no informed opinion.
