Yes he does and he will be hated on a lot to. Please don't act like Joe Calzaghe didn't have any lack luster performances. Every great fighter has had there share of those.

You, 2501, and Darkstar777 are good posters that follow Dawson. I've gotten into it with Darkstar before about the Glen-Chad rivalry, but I can't deny that most of Chad's fans rep him honestly. I respect that. But he hasn't really won me over as a fan because it seemed like he kind of hung Glen Johnson out to dry even though he eventually mustered up the stones to fight him again. If he beats him convincingly and goes on to have a couple other good fights, I won't hold that against him for the rest of his career. What I mean is that he went on to fight Tarver and understandably so. But you have to feel bad for Johnson that he had to watch Dawson get a few mill while he got a raw deal from the judges that night. Having that fight 8-4 for Chad is wrong no matter who you scored that fight for.

seems like he already has a better resume than calzaghe. adamek, tarver, and johnson or kessler and lacy hmmmm. if he beats up shot jones jr then he would be great? if he gets a gift decision over hopkins then he would be great?
