Easily we can say these WW's round up the top 5..Cotto,Shane,Clottey,Margarito, even Williams..

Cotto has Fought 3 of them.
Shane has fought 2 of them.
CLottey has fought 2of them.
Williams has fought 1 of them.

Floyd has fought...NONE...

How can the Welter Weight king be the WW King without fighting any of the top 5 guys who have been running the division for the last i dunno 3-6 years.

A lot of Floyd fans, and I'm not saying all of them feel as though they have to defend EVERYTHING regarding Mayweather. You can be a huge Mayweather fan and appreciate his fights without agreeing with his ranking. Just b/c you think Cotto should be ranked higher than Mayweather doesn't necessarily mean you are disrespectful or unappreciative of Mayweather's ability.

I haven't read one thorough explanation supporting Mayweather's WW ranking. As far as 18 votes is concerned, I think some of those people clicked the wrong option with the intent of actually supporting Cotto as #2. I could be wrong about that though.

I feel as though 9 times out of 10 Ring is closer to accurate than it is to inaccurate. There are of course exceptions from time to time. This is one of the more glaring examples of Ring being shady.
