There was absolutely nothing racist in what that dude said, and besides, his comment wasn’t on the ethnicity of the subject of this article, it was a response to that one remarking upon the negativity that coalesces around stories about black athlete and the law. Can’t disagree, personally.Comment

A proper anti-racist recognises that the issue at stake is human rights. The Hispanic diasporas and women need to have the same human rights and respect as black and mixed race communities. This ain’t it.Comment

You know, this is the saddest ****. You’ve pivoted from criticising anti-black narratives to slating another ethnicity minority (in the U.S) who have had plenty of their own **** to deal with, and misogyny.

And sadly what Washington said all them years ago is true and will likely remain true forever as long as victimhood pays and lets people shirk responsibility, whilst also making the "victim" feel "special" and the centre of attention for a time and politicians have used the aforementioned bullshít to their advantage for far too long... it's a Self-fulfilling prophecy.Comment

Except most Americans aren't "Anti" anything truth is - There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Négro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs-partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Négro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs. - Book T. Washington

Luckily, I deal in scientific data and fact, which makes explicitly clear the kind of negative life outcomes that African-Americans, Native Americans, and ethnic ********** in most western states experience in relation to health and healthcare, economy, education, and criminal justice.
That Native Americans were 40 times more likely to die from Covid, or that Afro-Caribbean individuals are 5 times more likely in the Uk to die during pregnancy are national scandals on their own merit; not including every other social issues experienced by all POC.
I’m very glad for Booker Washington and you that you both feel things aren’t bad. But the evidence says differently. Washington’s period was one the most legally and social time periods in history for African-Americans, but then he was upper middle class, so **** everyone else and the evidence all around him, I guess.Comment
