I don't realy think theres anyone else to fight for Floyd right now besides Mosley or Pac Cotto winner. Or both.

It would be a great fight. Much better than the one that just took place. It would be either a brutal ko for Margarito or a boxing lesson for Floyd.

Marg first needs to get his license back, then drop that trainer, then he might get some fights.

IMHO if marg keeps his trainer javier capetillo, then he wont get any big fights.

I see mosley beating berto, then marg coming back and challenging berto for a tune-up fight.

Is he even a draw anymore, MargaCheato, fuuck that. i guess that's why he wanted floyd so bad! makes perfect sense now!

After a one year plus layoff, I don't think Margarito fights at 147 anymore.

Looks to me like your believing the Floyd hype when he says Shane has no fan appeal.
Shane was the big name at the Staples, so lets not make believe. Not to mention that Shane is from California too.
              Guess what?
Zab and Cotto sold out the Garden (Zab being from Brooklyn) but Zab couldn't do it without Cotto.
Two even descent name fighters from the same area in any town will have a good chance of selling out to the home crowd.

Margarito was fresh from the Cotto win, he was the draw against Mosley. It was a pro-Margarito crowd that night.

I think it would be pointless for them to fight.

Margarito's career is over for the most part. He'll never be the same after what happened, physically or mentally.

In hindsight, Im glad the fight didn't happen when Margarito wanted it, you know damn well that he would have cheated in that fight.

Without plaster, even a 2006 Margarito gets UD'd by Floyd. 2010 Margarito gets a boxing lesson and a half.

Your right that Marg's popularity soared with the Cotto win but he is not a bigger draw than Mosley as for A MEXICAN IN A PREDOMINATELY MEXICAN AREA HAVING ALOT OF LOUD FANS...YEAH AND?
I guess Marquez was a bigger draw in his Floyd fight because his fans made the most noise....or perhaps Hattons was the bigger draw in Las Vegas because his fans made alot more noise? Or lets go with "pro Hatton or Pro Marquez" it sounds better...lol

Shane drew a bit of people since they are both from SoCal, but how can you say he was the bigger draw in that fight? Margarito beating Cotto was the main reason that fight sold.
