Berlanga is almost the opponent they like for Munguia. Edgar has not improved while surprisingly Munguia has improved as a fighter but still has no notable wins.

They should make this fight so they can cash out on these guys. Don't know if GBP will risk putting Munguia against a naturally bigger guy that can punch.

To improve, a fighter must first acknowledge his shortcomings. To hear Berlanga talk, he hasn't got any need for improvement.

Yup. I don't know how can he see one of his latest fights and don't think that he has a lot of things he has to work on. He might be surrounded by yes men that don't tell him the truth.

I hate to tell you guys but these fights will never happen unless things start to fall in order....1) Dazn has to abort mission in America 2) GBP needs to partner with Showtime 3) Arum needs to concede the fact that Haymon controls 90 % of American boxing and pledge to work more closely with him 4) PBC has to be a little less arrogant and start working better with TR 5) Espn Fox and Showtime/Cbs needs to partner up just like they do with the NBA NFL and MLB. All of this can happen in minutes but not until Dazn gets the fuq out of here

At 168? Munguia ain't looking for Berlanga. He wants Top Dawgs! Berlanga would love Munguia, but neither one wants smoke with Benavidez! They don't even want Morrell Jr.!

May vs. Pac got done! Joshua vs. Ruiz got done! Wilder vs. Fury got done! If it's big enough, it gets done!

I don't think any of those are comparable.

May-Pac was ten years too late. It was a cash out.
Joshua was a mega star, ruiz was a nobody. Of course haymon will make the deal. I'm sure he would have put charlo on dazn if he got a canelo fight.
Like i said, Al doesn't control wilder like he does his other fighters. Shelly Finkel was behind that deal.

There is virtually no precedent for making 50/50 fights across promotional boundaries when PBC is involved. Will we see a GBP/Top Rank deal? I kind of doubt it but if we do, it will most likely be for a cash out fight. I think arum knows berlanga sucks so he may be willing to do that.

Why do you say, "When PBC is involved?" Just say "no precedent for making 50.50 fights across promotional boundaries." We didn't get Haney vs. Garcia, Andrade vs. GGG, nor Canelo, and Wilder vs. Fury negotiations were better than Fury vs. Joshua! Hold all the promotional companies to the same standard!
