I think Russian Beterbiev vs Ukrainian Gvozdyk was a fake fight, a fake "war" if you will. Makes you wonder what other wars are fake. I mean, maybe not fake on the ground, but fake between the leaders. Maybe ***** and Zelenskky are actually working together behind the scenes, and all the hatred is just to brainwash the public and create a war for the people in high positions to profit off of? These manipulated wars have been happening in that area at least since the Bolsheviks. Why would it be any different now?
Tucker Carlson daily? Low on facts, high on speculation?

Lets start with this … Beterbiev is not a Russian.

I was talking about both, but it looks like you missed half of my comment.

It's hard to know. The only one that stands out is I think ***** definitely there's a good chance. Besides that it's hard to guess, but it's nice to see. I hope the world can get more honest in the future and everyone live together in harmony.

If you're going to make disrespectful, low effort comments like we are on twitter or tiktok, then we can end the conversation now. I engaged with you with respect in a serious way, so I ask the same back otherwise I'll leave you to talk with other people. With that out of the way, I will address what little you brought up here.

Regarding Beterbiev's nationality, wikipedia says he is Russian, and we can always trust wikipedia the same way we can always trust the news, do we agree? That is just a joke, but here is what it says.

Artur Asilbekovich Beterbiev (Russian: Артур Асильбекович Бетербиев; born 21 January 1985) is a Russian-Canadian professional boxer.[2][3] :
      Russian-Canadian.

Regarding Tucker Carlson, yes I agree he is unreliable, the same way that the ******** controlled media is unreliable. The USA has controlled media the same way Russia and Ukraine have controlled media. The USA has controlled media channels that controls the "left," and the USA has controlled media channels that controls the "right." I consider Tucker Carlson to be controlled media that controls the "right." I think you are very smart to also realize this, so congratulations. But if you realize this about Tucker Carlson, but you still trust in controlled media on the "left," then you are really no more aware, ultimately, than the people who distrust the controlled media on the "left" but trust Tucker Carlson. These are two sides of the same coin. The "elite" control both sides in every conflict, otherwise they would leave the outcome to chance.

I need to see some heart. A "war of attrition" if you will. I couldn't have been more disappointed.

The best part is that Bivol was there for the fight and said his team called it. They knew Gvosdyk liked to mix it up and that eventually Beterbiev could goad him into a "fight". No one on this planet has ANY business mixing boxing and brawling with that dude. Alas . . .
Weird take. I thought he showed tremendous heart in his win over Stevenson which by my account was a "war of attrition". Stevenson landed multiple bombs and nearly dropped The Nail late in the fight only to come back and fold Stevenson. Against Artur,it was an attrition that he got dragged into and lost but that went for every other opponent of Beterbiev. You can't win them all. He's a tremendous talent, throws beautiful combos and is relatively young. He'd be a great re-addition to 175

I think people are forgetting the guy nearly killed Stevenson. That's got to have had an effect on him.

Against Beterbiev, he took an awful beating in the ninth and showed heart to come out for next round. That fight could easily have ended in the corner between rounds.

Yeah I thought it was a bit premature him hanging the gloves up when he did after beterbiev beat him but it was probaly a tough loss for him take because beterbiev also Stopped him as a amatuer so mentally going into the fight he probably had that in the back of his mind but he did okay in that fight he was up on two cards but you could see the pressure an the strength of beterbiev catch up to him down the stretch. But I think he could have some good fights still at 175 if he has ambition still he was a really good well schooled fighter

Saw that fight up close and in person, the man had his will physically beat out of him by Artur that night. I don't think that he mentally folded (or his heart for that matter). I think his body gave out. He took some ferocious shots and ended up in the hospital that night.

The same thing for the amateur's he was known to quit there and the excuse his fans had that the amatuers werent serious enough to dig deep. I feel the miscall in the first round knockdown started to effect him a lot. Half way through the fight it was pretty even but starting the second half it looked like Bute vs Froch. with Gvosdyk looking scared.

I think Gvosyk has more skills than Bivol or did up to that point. but, I just never felt Gvosdyk looked that strong mentally.

Keep in mind Gvosdyk was also losing the fight to Stevenson and I think age had a lot to do with stevenson losing his stamina late.

Agreed 100%. Gvozdyk is a warrior, I don't get the takes that he quit or is mentally weak just based off his one loss. He stayed in exchanges with Beterbiev so that he could land his own shots. Beterbiev was landing wicked shots; I've been to many fights and the thud of Arthur's punches that night were not like anything I had heard before.

For me, the difference between The Nail and Bivol is defense and sense of range. Bivol was offensive minded early in his career but became more defensively aware as the level of competition increased. The Nail has always been more offensive minded. Simply put, Bivol doesn't put himself in position to get hit as much as Gvozdyk does.

It's hard for me to imagine someone who compiled the amateur record that Gvozdyk did as a quitter. I remember Max Kellerman saying the same at the time of the stoppage and I didn't agree then either.

As for Stevenson, I thought that was a fairly even and violent fight up until the stoppage. It looked like the same Stevenson that fought Jack tooth and nail. We can agree to disagree.
