If Haney beats Lomachenko he deserves to be on the p4p list. If Lomachenko beats Haney, just another day at the office. Haney runs away from Loma. You heard it here first. He will drop the belts and run. Too risky. He knows he will lose.Comment

A lot of fighters clinch stronger, faster fighters to throw off their rhythm/power and frustrate the opponent to the novice its boring but it can be very effective in winning a fight, a good ref will take points if it gets excessive. Closing and clinching can work for you when you are hurt or weaker. In a fight you have to do what works and of course the fans who don't like you rather see you stand there and get knocked tha f#ck out. Ali, Oscar, Mayweather, Holmes, Norton and a few other greats used this tactic several ways.
Prime Loma would make Haney quit, but he's not prime any more, so it all depends on the state of his injuries and whether he's lost a step. Vs Teo Loma wasn't 100% and Teo also had the speed and power to keep Loma honest for a lot of the fight. Haney doesn't have the power to keep Loma shy, so it comes back to which Loma shows up. If he's fully healthy it will be a long night for Haney. I doubt Haney will go for the fight anyway.Comment
