I think Wilder should hang up the mitts you made your mark in boxing history
your legs are not strong enough to support the many hard blows that you take to your head

Wilder's delusion and power makes for good watching so I'm glad he's back, dented head and all.

It's still hard to listen to the guy but I'm glad he's back. His fights are entertaining.

That he said "You’re looking at a walking, living legend" shows he's as delusional as ever.

He's getting on now, he's been seriously bashed around in a couple of fights, and we've already seen evidence that his athleticism and endurance have been dimishined. Combine that with some serious lack of enthusiasm for training and evidence that his pride and heart remain undiminished and you potentially have a bad combination of factors at play going into this fight with Helenius.

I think there's a chance Helenius roughs him up and ends his career.

I see what people are saying in this discussion, they are kind of speculating that Wilder's fighting attitude has changed in the ring 'I don't think it will'.

There was no stage of the Fury fights, where Wilder diverted his game plan. Even when he was taking the worst beating of his career in the second fight.

Wilder will be the same type of fighter in his comeback. The question for me, is what type of condition he will turn up in. It does look like he is going back to his more default settings, of not intentionally trying to match these other super-heavyweights for mass. Those tactics nearly worked vs Fury III, but unlike Joshua? Wilder struggles to turn that extra mass into functional weight. Maybe Wilder needed more time to acclimatized to that weight, because although his brute strength was better than ever 'His punching technique and sharpness was visibly off'.

Joshua has been 10 almost 14 pounds heavier than he was vs Usyk 'And still performed well in a long intense fight i.e Joshua was 250 pounds vs Kiltschko'.

Wilder should just train for conditioning and endurance, and then whatever weight he is? That is his fighting weight. Don't try and match these other fighters for mass.

I do think Wilder is insulted that he was stopped by Fury. With Fury not really being class as a power puncher before Wilder.

All about condition, a fighter like Wilder has to be tuned in.
