I don't think he is over-rated. He has a good jab that he uses it frequently and it does land a lot, chin, stamina and as slow as he is he throws the right punches at the right moment.

He won't get out hustled but he can get outboxed.

lol at the amount of people comparing proven fighters to Joyce.

Joyce just beat a C level guy as his best win at 37 years old and people are ranking him like top 1-3 in the division now for it. People wanting to talk canelo who is rated top in his division because oh gee hes the unified champion there. not because he beat a single C level fighter.

Like to see if he can absorb a Wilder right or go down like Breazeale. That's why we watch the heavyweights, right? Make the fight.

You guys realize lennox lewis was basically the same age, 38 when he retired after a long successufl career and stacked resume?

Joyce is the same age as a career complete Lennox Lewis with his only win being against a shot parker and people are all aboard the hype train, its crazy, its the most overrated I have seen a fighter in a VERY long time.

how can a guy who is 37 years old and as you say his career is effectively over be the most overrated?

                  that doesnt make sense.

this title goes to someone like ryan garcia who is being shoved down everybody's throats. garcia even has a mainstream media commercial with damian lillard before he has fought someone you would describe as a great fighter let alone hall of famer.

garcia is being propped up as the next oscar de la hoya.

let's just hope garcia doesnt have "ru paul" tendencies like oscar.....

Again, tell me how is Parker C level guy?

How exactly is Wilder high profile fighter than? Are you counting two KO losses to Fury in his great resume?

Joyce beating Dubois and Parker is better than Wilder beating all Arreola`s and Washington`s.

If Wilder beat Parker, that would be by mile his best win, lol.

Ryan garcia is insanely overrated you are correct agbout that one. I think that is more mainstream sports media hyping him. Most people on here know he sucks balls. But a lot of boxing fans, guys on this site not in the media, are now hyping joe joyce to the moon when he is 37 years old beating a shot parker. parker was c level in his prime and they just hyped him to make AJ look good, that was part of that marketing machine. Usyk already schooled joe joyce, he has no defense and lunges in head first.

I hope he does fight wilder and get starched out so everyone can be brought back to reality
