  • Had Floyd Knocked JMM Out It Would Have Gotten Less Credit

Because people would really bring size into the picture. Had Floyd knocked JMM out, many would wonder how the fight would play out had it gone 12 and many would still want to see him fight Pacquiao. What I have found out is that how Floyd dominated over 12, many more are NOT wanting to see a Pacquiao fight now, simply because of how they know Pac/JMM has faired.

Floyd didnt win because he was the bigger man, it didnt hurt, but he won because of defense, stamina, accuracy, not to mention his mind. I dont see anybody at 147 who can beat him, maybe they will try to a last ditch effore and get P.Will back down.

Of course he won because he was the bigger man which is the reason he didnt want to come down to the original agreed on weight.

Are you guys really this ******? I find it hard to believe that any legit boxing fan wouldn't know that coming down to an uncomfortable weight diminish your all around ABILITY. Floyd wanted to be at the weight he felt best at.

And because Marquez came up in weight and become SLOWER and Mayweather DIDNT come down in weight at all, how the HELL are you going to see he didn't win because of his size?

For all you so called "boxing fans" that don't understand this weight *****, you don't have to be a physical fighter to have an advantage through WEIGHT. If you're fighting at a weight you are naturally comfortable with and you're opponent isn't, thats a WEIGHT advantage right there.

Jesus, wtf is wrong with you kids?

Size was in the picture before, during, and after the fight. There is no way around it.

Either way, the fight was exposed for the mismatch that it was, and once again...people were cheated out of their hard earned money.

If you don't think that Floyd's size advantage was a factor in the fight, then you don't know ****. If that was the case then why didn't Floyd cut to 144 like he was supposed to?

Of course, Floyd's skills and attributes contributed to his domination, but obviously a lot of it had to do with his size advantage.

Not to try and take anything away from Floyd's performance but he was supposed to look this good in the fight, this is the reason why Marquez was hand picked.

Floyd is better than JMM in every category, no matter what weight they fought at Floyd was going to win. But slowly but surely those who dont give Floyd credit, some are coming around, I guess the rest will later but they will eventually.

Dont worry, Im suspecting Pac to negotiate his way OUT of a fight with Floyd, if he doesnt then we will see very soon how Pac will get battered and brutalized against Floyd, you know this and everybody knows it.

            B
of course Floyd should have Ko'd him in the second!
            Floyd lost massive respect for
            1. picking on the little guy
he even said he is a "great Little guy"
Why the hell would you say that about an opponent knowing that the size was a issue already?

            2. not being able to knock him out

            3. toying with the smaller fighter

he is so disrespectful he deserves to be knocked hte f uck out but he is too much of a girly girl to fight top level WW.

If he would have knocked him out we would have said
great you did what you had to and thats that

Yes, because what we think should determine whether or not fights get made. What's the point of actually fighting? /sarcasm

Pacquiao is stepping up and fighting people who are bigger and stronger than he is. Floyd chooses to fight those smaller and weaker than himself.

Since when has Pacquiao backed down from a fight?

Floyd's win over Marquez was expected. Sure he looked impressive, but he was supposed to.

I'm impressed with how he boxed, but face the fact that Marquez was hand picked by Team Mayweather to make him look good, and strengthen his negotiating position in a fight with the Cotto-Pacquiao winner.

Cotto/Pac wasnt even considered when Floyd signed to fight Marquez, just doesnt make sense. Pac wouldnt mind fighting Floyd I dont think, but its Arum I think who will either block it altogether or stall as long as possible through negotiations. They will say 50-50 or no fight, but Pac has to get through Cotto which isnt a given by no stretch of the imagination.
