Speaking from experience , one of the reasons for the lateness is also associated with the establishments who show these shows
I owned a bar for ten years and some of my busiest nights were fight nights
The boxing or ufc would finish around the 1 am making patrons hang around the bar being to late to go elsewhere etc etc
Thats how they view it in the casinos , once again speaking from experience ( been to many shows and will admit many times we thought it was to late to go anywhere else so just spent money there )
