Sounds like the last round of Fury v Joshua negotiations. Team Fury pretending they wanted it while actually fully intending to fight somebody else the entire time.

Plan here was for Joshua to turn the offer down and for Fury, his team, his promoters and his fans to start up the "DUCK" narrative.

But it's quite clear who the duck really is here.

I'm mainly baffled as to how Tyson or his team thought any of this was going to benefit him. What were they hoping for?

I mean, if he now goes ahead and fights Charr on Dec 3rd like everyone expects him to there will be a huge backlash of criticism which largely wouldn't have existed had he just said "Ok people, Usyk isn't gonna be ready till next year so I'm having a stay-busy fight in the meantime."

Was it just to keep his name in the press? Seems miscalculated whatever the case because he's turning a lot of people off him again.

Fury the Fraud strikes again. He was shocked when AJ accepted his rushed fight date and split and so now has arbritrary deadlines even though his own promoter said they were having talks today but then he makes a demand of a deadline on the same day! I hope Usyk brutalizes him if they ever fight.
