If they fight again, it may well turn out much worse for Canelo. Canelo doesn’t have the footwork, the combination punching, nor the defense to beat Bivol. While Bivol is in his prime, Canelo looks slow, methodical and past his best. He could not hurt a 40 year old Golovkin, who moved up in weight for the first time to fight him. Unless Canelo can bring a baseball bat in the ring, the next match may be a stoppage in the late rounds. Canelo has had over 60 fights and has been a professional for 17 years. Retire now as undisputed super middleweight champion, get in the Hall of Fame and live a happy and healthy life. No need for more punishment.

If he could turn that fight around and win it for real, that would be an amazing miracle. I think Canelo might even, if he could work on his reputation for holiness, one day become a saint.

Been saying it for awhile, I think we've seen the best of Canelo. He's not suddenly going to improve drastically enough to make up for his shortcomings.

He has to believe or he has no chance at all.

He's not technically wrong. If his stamina wasn't so **** and he has the same corrupt judges, he literally only needed 1 more late round to get a draw. But the backlash from the first judges means he might not get the same judge treatment.

He's not fighting Bivol. I don't believe he ever wanted to fight him to begin with. After he comes back from his injuries, he's going to "go into talks with Bivol." Followed swiftly by the talks breaking down, claiming that Bivol priced himself out. Then he's going to fight Jake Paul, have one more fight as a farewell to his fans probably in Mexico, and then hang it up.

Canelo basically should be 170 lbs at weigh in and should return to his 160 lbs style.

If I was Canelo, I would return to 160. Charlo, Janibek, 40 yo GGG all are snack fights. I would retire after beat them and become undisputed at 160. He is very stubborn and will fight Bivol.

bHere comes loss number 3, of course it should be 4. Bivol will beat him easier this time. Bivol is gonna prove he's king at 175 after out boxing Surdo Ramirez. Bivol is no joke
