Comments Thread For: Shakur Stevenson: I'm Definitely Proving I'm A Bigger Star Than Everybody Give Me Credit For

NEWARK, New Jersey - The odds on his fight against Robson Conceicao were so wide, Shakur Stevenson probably proved more Friday night about his drawing power than his prowess inside the ring.

Moving up will be the truth serum...I may be wrong but when he gets hit with some real power I think he folds.

Mark my words, Shakur beats Canelo if they were in the same weight class.

Can't put my finger on it, but something is missing. I expected more from a guy who's supposedly Bud's protégé.

Andre Ward brought up a great point about mixing up the tempo of his shots as well. He has a lot of improving to do to mix it up with the best at 135.

Guy is lacking. He accomplished a lot, but he’s maxed out. You guys give this hype job 2 much credit.

Are you really that big star if you always have to talk about how big star you are?

What is interesting is that Crawford admitted that he would like to become a professional trainer which is interesting considering his boxing IQ. He tried to give proper advise to Maurice Hooker in his corner on the bout against Blair Cobbs, but he was just underperforming to the extent that he couldn't keep up.

How does “he’s accomplished a lot” and “hype job” match up? He cannot be both.
Two, how are you so critical of someone who is still just 25 and his career is on an upward trajectory? How do you call him a hype job? Who is not a hype job at 135 according to your expert opinion?
