I like Stevenson - his personality isn't unlikeable (he's made young dumb kid/young man mistakes. That's it). I had my doubts about him in the beginning, but he's the real deal. He's going to win a few titles. He has a very high boxing IQ, and his power is understated.

Real fans (non casuals) do enjoy a skilled fighter, but they also like to see power. Nobody wants to watch a 12 round fight over and over with their favorite boxer, they want to see the skill, but then they want to see the fight culminating in a KO. KO’s and at least knockdowns are what makes fights exciting. Pit pattering to a 12 round win is not exciting, it’s just interesting (to a real boxing fan). Most like Excitement!

I like his personality. He’s funny. He has no power. Wtf does personality have to do with a fight sport? I want to see him hold jo jo diaz a thousand times after he gets stunned and get away it. Boxing isn’t real buddy. It’s entertainment.

Real boxing fans like movement not holding. Shakur holds like a mother cause he has no power or chin. He’d get blasted bare knuckle or in a cage. His style makes boxing look week. A blue belt will kick his ass. No power

who cares what ryan and tank would’ve done, they have great power but are average defensively and nothing special technically - Shakurs skillset is going to take him further than that... wanna know why? because power means zilch.
You’re a dumb son of a ***** if you want me to believe Shakur just allowed himself to be hit cleanly like that. Why? For the greater good of pursuing a KO…something he couldn’t get?!

            Youzza a fool, sir.

The longer that fight went on, the more flaws we saw from Shakur. The frustration. Then, Shakur showed more frustration in the post fight interview by alluding to the fact that Conceicao wouldn’t just stand there and allow himself to get beat down.

Not a good look. And don’t tell me what kind of fan I am when you clearly don’t know the first thing about the first thing.

You must be under 40. You're a part of the short attention span era. Nothing is wrong with an entertaining 12 round fight. Ward VS Gatti went 12 rounds 3 times, and 2 of those fights won, Fight of the Year. Shakur Stevenson does have power. In the beginning of his career, he really boxed, and preferred not to get hit. As he is now growing into his grown man body, he is engaging more. While he still has a lot to learn, he has shown the ability to deliver and take punches - and dude can box. He has a bright future.

Go back to MMA fights buddy. That's where you're clearly comfortable.

LOL!! Don't make me laugh. He didn't respect Robson's power which is why he was walking him down which equalled to being hit more. PLEASE hit me back when you understand boxing brother.
Like I said just keep watching Shakur - put that hate aside and you'll see he isn't losing any time soon no matter who he gets put in with, most talented fighter in the sport 25 and under.

Hold on. It can’t be a secondary vacant title bull ****. This jack ass will never win a title again from a main title holder. Never. He has less power than Haney and half the skills. They won’t let him low blow Haney either. Ryan Garcia knocks this guy out in 3. Facts
