I'm not really a Cotto hater. I just think that his fans go overboard with hype. And I also don't like of how he low blowed Zab Judah while he was in trouble even though I'm not a Zab fan. And I try to be objective as possible, but like I said, I thought Mosley beat Cotto in a close fight. And yet his hardcore fans say it was a clear victory. These are the reasons why I am not a fan of Cotto. But this thread is actually more directed to these trolls that keep defending Mayweather for not fighting the best. I have to give that to Cotto even though he is the less talented fighter. The boy has a good resume at Welter. I can't take that away from him.

I would MUCH rather see Pac and Money fight. Money's overly defensive style will be a problem for the relentless, tireless fast as hell Pacman. Pacman will be on the offensive and FM will be on the defensive. I'd LOVE to see how that would play out!

LOL don't know what fight you were watching. Cotto controlled the pace, outlanded Mosley, landed the flusher shots along with Mosley himself looking frustrated (not a good thing to show for judges).

Close fight, but Cotto clearly won and Mosley himself acknowledged.

As far as a fight with Mayweather, he's a totally different animal than Cotto. Floyd is a pure counterpuncher and won't be bringing the fight to Mosley. Floyd hasn't fought someone the size and strength of Mosley nor has he been pressured by someone even that size (because Oscar sure as hell didn't). Styles make fights buddy, that's why Mosley beat Margarito and Marg beat Cotto (plaster or not).

Okay, I'm an honest Cotto hater. But I actually wasn't all that serious about that one thread that I made about JMM beating Cotto. I actually would favor Cotto in that one, but I'm giving my reasons why people shouldn't automatically say that Cotto would destroy JMM and KO him unlike Mayweather could. Hearing those kind of posts is why I made the thread I did. Cotto doesn't defend against uppercuts at all and he gases at the end of fights, and that is why I said that JMM would stand an outside chance of beating him. I would still favor Cotto because of how bad JMM looked against Floyd, but I admitted it wasn't a forgone conclusion to me even though the people that read it automatically assumed that I would favor JMM to beat Cotto.
