Could not create anything the last 4 rounds againsta 40 yr old G, was gassed. Team Canelo must keep cherrypicking their opponents or else he'll get brutalized by a young up and coming fighter.

He looks like he’s close to retirement. His performance vs GGG was awful. But a decade of fighting top 1-10 contenders regularly to please his critics, will do that to you.
He has fought/beaten enough champions, former champions, high risk fighters, P4P top 10 fighters, future HOFers, top 10 contenders, and has gone up enough weight classes where he can retire today as a HOFer. He’s also already a legend, in that he’s the first undisputed champion at 168lbs.
Most importantly than being the first 168 undisputed champion, he is the first Mexican boxer in history to be undisputed champion.
Canelo needs to stay far, far away from Bivol. Take the L. Look like a coward. Most of us who know boxing, knew before the fight that Canelo’s chances of beating Bivol were slim. He needs to end his career with Benavidez and Charlo. Not another Bivol fight.
First of all if he loses to Bivol, he won’t get any credit for showing the big cojones he has. He knows damn well it’s an unwinnable fight. Don’t be stubborn.
Secondly, if he beats Bivol, his critics will just dismiss the win and say Canelo fought Bivol to duck Benavidez.
Lastly, if Canelo doesn’t fight Bivol, Canelo critics will just say he ducked Bivol and is a coward.
Win, lose, draw, or no fight, vs Bivol are all L’s for Canelo.
Canelo’s career is coming to an end, I agree with you, he should end it by facing the rest of the good fighters of 160-168, Benavidez and Charlo.Comment

He always had stanina issues and it's only going to go downhill from here unless he fights guys like Saunders or Plant who can't press him.Comment
