And I believe that Haney must know this too based on the sparring sessions. I've seen a little, and I saw Shakur control distance better, and I saw Shakur have the better defense. Of course sparring is sparring, but that was eye opening. And I have an idea that Haney's asking price to fight Shakur would be so extreme that the fight will never happen.

However, if it would happen, I'd buy the PPV and not think twice.
Haney took less money to fight Kambosos. Times are different now that Hearn isn’t there to overpay him anymore. I bet he even wishes he didn’t price himself out of a Loma fight.

These fighters need to realize Floyd didn’t just sell PPV because he was undefeated. He sold PPV because we all knew he was the real deal. Spence, Crawford, the Charlos, Tank, and Haney are all undefeated and can’t really sell flies to sht because we don’t believe in them fully.

Yup. Absolutely. Also, Floyd had the perfect storm. There were all these stars fighting at the same time, around the same weight class, more or less, such as De La Hoya and Cotto. It was a synergistic effect. Right now, there's no one these guys can really fight. Lomachenko is popular but not that popular and especially after he lost to Lopez. I think Tank is the guy right now, but he's not even close to the level that De La Hoya and Cotto were on. But Mayweather is aware of this, that it's Tank, not Shakur or Haney, who are the stars.

I'm think while I right this, but you know, if Garcia does fight Tank and happens to beat Tank, that would make Ryan the new De La Hoya. Then, if Haney or Shakur were to fight Garcia and beat him, then that would take them into that Money Mayweather category. That's the only way I can see it happening right now. Potentially.

Anyway, times are definitely different now. These guys have to understand the market they're in to understand what they're worth and how to increase that worth. I really hope Devin doesn't price himself out again of the Loma fight. It's one of the fights I'm looking forward to next year. It's a fight that's like four years in the making.

We'll see what happens with Garcia, for now he's still at 135. If he beats Tank which I'm sure he will, there will be a rematch at 135 so he's at 135 for the time being.

I thought I heard that too about Haney, but never got a source. Haney said he's definitely fighting Loma after Kambo. That will be at 135.
