this is a high school fight, not a street fight.
theres a huge difference between fighting for your wallet or life on the street(against someone thatll youll hopefully never meet again) and fighting some kid that youll have to deal with in school.Comment

In the high schools that i personally went to, it wasn't a normal thing for people to just walk around with weapons like knives ect. They normally fought with their hands ( although there were multiple shootings at my school, but only for drug related reasons).
All of my fights always started with just me and someone else though, because i never looked for trouble and was always a quiet person that was never involved in anything. My fights always started with those jeolous people trying to act hard and starting **** in front of everybody, while I'm just minding my buisness. So it was only between me and that one person, and that's how it normally ended but i did get a few threats of being jumped, but when they seen what happened to him and the fact i carried weapons when i felt it was needed, they would think i would crazy and not go through with it.maybe we do just come from different places, but fights almost never started when it was just two people alone. if a kid new he might be in a fight in the future, he got people to go with him whereever he went, including on the way home.
although thats also because people who walked alone sometimes got robbed or jumped for the hell of it, lol. we had a lot of 'groups' in my high school, even with their wannabe gangs...so its not like everyone got along and talked to everyone else.
I agree that it was only in middle school, but Ive seen dozens of people get cheap shotted in high school as well. There are sneaky people everywhere, and when your back is turned, that where they're at their most dangerous. I didn't normally take my eye off of them until i was off that same street. What if you turned your back, and they was able to get you into a chock hold from behind, that you can't get out off? That's why you can't start anything without finishing it.and your example is from middle school. middle school kids are the biggest morons of any age group. theyre little kids exposed to adult issues, and a little kid would rather take any kind of pain instead of being embarressed. beating someone up to me aint destroying their face, but KOing them. any fight Ive been in was ended by the other guy in la la land with no will to fight. Im still a little cautious while helping them up and practically walk sideways as I walk away, but no ones ever come after me when their head is spinning.
Same here, i was never in a lot of fights, because i always kept to myself and that's what you have to do in high school, because there are those people that loves drama and fights.not that Ive been in a ton of fights...I kept a low profile, and people that dont ask for it generally dont get it. just my experience, and from what Ive seen of others.Comment

well, seems like you and I mostly agree, its just we have differences in situation and school areas. a lot of people had knives at my school...just didnt use them unless someone else used the first. someone even had like a razorblade in his cell phone, I was wtf! lol. hence it wasnt that great to have one yourself. In the high schools that i personally went to, it wasn't a normal thing for people to just walk around with weapons like knives ect. I always was looking behind my back in high school, never put my hands in my pockets, lol. I definitely checked constantly behind me after a fight happened making sure they were very far behind, there was no chance of them sneaking up right after a fight. besides, like I said, theyre still in la la land. I dunno, theyve never tried it on me, and I definitely never gave them the opportunity.
well, me and you basicalyl covered everything and wed just be going in circles at this point, so lets just call it a day, eh?
it couldve been worse, for sure...but the other guy was clearly finished at a point, personalyl I would have preferred if he let it go at that instead of smacking him again after the kid was defeatedly trying to sit back up. maybe its because Im a moralistic person.
besides, if you want to make a statement, let them get up multiple times and keep sending them back down. the other person cant pretend like it was a fluke. once a guy goes down once, he aint gonna be able to do anything on his jelly legs.
remember, this is a high school fight...if this was a guy trying to mug you or kill you, please, by all means beat them senseless and totally unconcious.Comment

Yeah lets call it a day..lol i wonder what the debate was over in the first place, because in the last page, you said that you beat them while they was down( but not until they're all the way out) and i pretty much do the same thing. I mean while i do want the person pretty much knocked out, i don't want them to die or nothing like that. I just think the difference between me and you is that you help them to their feet ( which isn't a bad thing) and i just walk away. Either way, i enjoyed this thread and this discussion.well, seems like you and I mostly agree, its just we have differences in situation and school areas. a lot of people had knives at my school...just didnt use them unless someone else used the first. someone even had like a razorblade in his cell phone, I was wtf! lol. hence it wasnt that great to have one yourself.
