Lop. Wilder is my guy. But I have to agree here. I’m glad he’s coming back. Hopefully he can add to that resume and be in the discussion.

Just not enough substantial wins as of yet for Wilder to be HOF

I would not disagree if he comes back and beats Usyk and couple more top tier guys like AJ and Ruiz. Then by all means I'll take the boards off the HOF entrance LOL. I like Fury, but will always root for Wilder vs anyone else.

Yeah I’m really not sure if the standard needed to get in, but Wilder? Really? Everyone and their mother knows he held that belt hostage for years. Terrible resume

Hall of Fame big right hand power, not a hall of fame great fighter.

But shouldn't care much about hall of fame, that's when we're too old. Legacy to the fans, good money made in career, and still having your brain health intact, that's what's most important.

Gatti and ricky hatton are in more for popularity than skill. hall of fame isnt even required to be the most skilled.

Both were 2 division champs. Wilder should consider the fake Bridgerweight division to accomplish the same. Not to mention they have had meaningful wins. Wilder's resume is weak as hell.

Raises an interesting question — at least to me: How difficult is it to get enshrined in the boxing HOF? Can anyone offer insight, using examples? The baseball HOF, for instance, is terribly difficult to be admitted to.
