Yildirim was pretty limited. Right after Canelo he fought Jack Cullen (aka Little Lever's Meat Cleaver) and lost pretty comprehensively.

Regarding Chavez, I do wonder why Canelo was willing to fight him since he was a fellow Mexican and the son of a national legend in the sport. I was under the impression that was one of the reasons why he didn't wish to fight Zurdo.
