Except he's taking the harder fight and he's a beltholder, unlike Tank. Crawford shouldn't have resigned with T.R but at least now it looks like hell be fighting Spence.JFC, this guy’s a next level practitioner, but sounds like he’s happy to have little input into his career and who he faces, in particular.
Other boxers who allow their promoter to carefully manage any and all aspects of their destiny like this get accused of ducking, such as Crawford or Tank.Comment

Respect for both corners in this fight. Dream matchup! Whoever gets their hand raised, I see digging deep to get it.Comment

Did anyone see Zurdo’s second to last fight against the Cuban? Zurdo fights at a slow pace, he got hit a lot, and the opponent ate his power shots until the 10th round. Bivol’s gonna do him how he did Joe Smith.Comment

Top rank was crawford’s whole problem, or rather, I should say both promotional companies were for he and Spence, respectively.
Yeah Bivol is in a better fight for real, but it sounds as if he just goes wherever the tide takes him, which means Hearn decides. And if it was up to Hearn, Bivol would be ducking that mandatory and facing that Buatsi

Well Hearn just trying to make an in-house fight which is what promoters love to do as it's a win-win scenario. Arum did it for Crawford and Mayweather/PBC are doing it for Tank and Tank is not complaining - there's a load of posters saying on other threads that Golovkin will just go where the money is now and not go for legacy - but he is in the HOF and has his legacy, such as it is, and he's 40 y.o at the tail end of his career. Very few saying anything about Tank who is still young and has all the tools to be great at 135 but they are feeding him B and C level fighters - he should be reaching out to Loma, Garcia and Haney but they prefer in house lower risk fights and unlike Bivol he doesn't have to be in a mandatory as they are promoting the line that belts don't matter. Bivol has said many times he wants to fight Beterbiev which is a far tougher fight than Ramirez - Ramirez biggest attribute is his size, 2nd his power and 3rd his skills.

Lol, I've said so many times that Tank is a waster that I've almost got tired of even bringing him. But not quite.

My point on Bivol, as with these other ppl happy to float, is that he needs to get real control of his destiny. If he wants that fight, tell Hearn that's all you're taking.
Same with these other MFs. And if they're not wanting to do this, then you can only assume they're content with fighting whoever the promoter tells you. And in most cases, the promoter, as you say, will take fights that protect their bottom line.Comment

buatsi is a tougher opponent.... funny how he was 'exposed' by having a close fight to someone who bivol had a close fight with himself. buatsi would have put it on him from round 1, bivol would have needed more than a euro guard and a 1/2 to beat josh, trust me on thatComment
