Fighters usually want to go out on win. So Ggg will go on a while more. He may want a few more good names on resume

Retire GGG--why take more punishment in the ring after making another $20 mil? But fighters are like that--most don't know when to quit.

It's what they love to do, carving legacy out, challenging themselves.

GGG and good names on the resume don't even go together.

He'll find another adama, Rolls, szermeta, level opponent

Why are people like yourself so jealous, judgmental and hateful? In the meantime you're just another nobody scrubbing toilets at his 9-5 (if you even have a job). EVERYONE has some guys like that on their resume. GGG also has multiple World Champions on his.

With all due respect to a living legend Duran, one of the greatest ever, but he was also lacklustre in his third fight with Leonard.

I'm not mentioning the second fight with Leonard, because who knows what happened there where he imploded. But what a great fighter, most notable wins over Sugar in first one, and against Barkley, Buchanan, and Moore, among others.

He was a brilliant lightweight, and an excellent welterweight. Also gave Hagler a very hard fifteen rounds. Only really terrible loss where he was blown away was against Hearns.

Well, in GGG defense there was nobody at 160 he was unwilling to fight in his prime. Nobody.

Now he needs to keep that same energy and go fight Charlo. Really the only fight that makes sense at 160.

He won’t though. Probably rematch Dominic Wade.

Duran is right. Golovkin needs to understand that that his mental faculties are far more important than anything he can add to accumulated wealth.

I agree. I think GGG's decline must be primarily attributed to age, but Banks seems to be a wretched trainer. He was an average fighter at best and was gifted the opportunity to train Wlad only because of his association with Manny Steward. Besides the fact that he has questionable credentials, he just seems soo listless and devoid of intelligence. I have never once heard this man say a single insightful thing about a fight or fighter. Everybody seems to hate Abel Sanchez, but Sanchez seems to understand fighting (and, more importantly, GGG) far better than Johnathan Banks.
