We all know it's going to be cotto or manny. If Cotto beats manny he will become a way bigger name in boxing and will set up a mega fight. If manny wins well we all know it would be the biggest fight in the sport.

Of course. Mosley would beat Berto have the WBC and IBF belt. Mayweather would beat Pacquiao or Cotto win the WBO and the diomand paper belt, then Mosley vs Mayweather becomes a fight for the undisputed WW title. Sounds like a good idea to me. Also IMO if any man pulls that on you you have to fight him.

He may as well go back to retirement now if he's just gonna pull the same bull**** over and over. If Pacquiao wins...there's several options for him at 140 including a 3rd Marquez fight, and 147 as well. If Cotto wins there's Clottey and Mosley rematches.

It was not wrong of Mosley to get on the microphone and say that a fight between the two of them would be a mega event. He did not get on the mic and say 'I'll beat you any day of the week, Floyd.'. He was invited into the interview by HBO and he was respectful, said his words and was backing off.

What happened was all because of Bernard Hopkins and his big mouth.

The article is just trash, making it out like Shane is a bully. He never disrespected Floyd. All he disrespected was Floyd's precious ego.

And why would Shane 'concede the stage' at the post-fight conference. He's a member of GOLDEN BOY PROMOTIONS. He's ALWAYS on the stage post-fight.

Anyway I'm glad that what happened, happened. Floyd had cheated on the scales and I don't blame HBO for instigating a fight with a real welterweight.

I agree alot of it was hopkins, so i can see where you are coming from. Boss Hop was in there pushing his guy so he can cake off of the fight as a goldenboy ceo. In all honesty, that type of disrespect does fuel interest though, i certainly dont give a **** about a pac/mayweather fight after saturday. I have been waiting for SSM and PBF to get it on since they were both on the cover of ring magazine togther, it was either ring of KO monthly.

It got him fights, just not the ones he wanted, he didint want williams, berto etc, he wanted pac or mayweather, he wants the huge payday and didint do anything to stay busy in between that. I cant say i feel super sorry for him because he wanted the hugest payday, while thats understanable, there were other fights in between he could have taken to help rise his stock.

I'm not sure that at his age, fights with Berto and Williams would do much more for his status. Paul Williams maybe but that's someone no one below 160 wants to fight and he isn't exactly a name.

I also find it interesting that Ellerbe is saying here that Mayweather and Mosley will fight. Could the other article be wrong?

I feel the same way as Starjammer. Terrible article, incredibly biased towards Floyd. Journalists are supposed to report news while remaining neutral, not telling us how shameful Mosley's behavior was. Totally crap article written by someone who obviously can't get his tongue any further up Floyd's ass than it already is.
