Last night was the fight time I actually watched a WHOLE Canelo fight. Back when Usman used to call him out, I always thought he would pick him apart in the boxing ring or octagon. Now I realize how wrong I was. Canelo’s head movement and speed is insane. I’m still SHOCKED that someone at 168 is that fast. Honestly, Canelo would beat him in the octagon too. His punches are just too fast and Usman has no chin like like most UFC fighters.

Facts! I remember thinking Usman would play with him and that Dana White was trolling when he said it would be dangerous for him. Now I see what he means. That speed and upper body movement is no joke. He would flatline Usman and probably any other UFC fighter in that weight class too.

You thought a wrestler could beat an elite p4p boxer in a boxing match?

Yes. I used to think that BJJ was everything. I just now got into boxing and am realizing that these guys are WAY more skilled than what we over at the MMA community thought. It’s ridiculous.

              BJJ doesn’t use strikes

Interesting you would have thought that

I don’t mean in a boxing match. I mean in a street fight, where BJJ could have been used. Last night, I was shocked by Canelo’s movement and speed. He’s very fast for his size. Again, I’m new to boxing but I’m starting to see how much smoother and cleaner it is compared to MMA.

Sorry! I’m new to this sport but I’m definitely seeing now why Dana White wants to keep his stable away from the Ginger kid. He would KO them all. In the ring or octagon.
