The GGG from the first or second fight? Watch the fights again and see how much slower Canelo got especially with his feet. Since168-175 Canelo became a slow plodding fighter who backs his taller opponents to the ropes and breaks them down and as shown when he misses a lot or cant fully dictate a fight he gasses like in this and the Bivol fight.. And supposedly he had a hurt left hand too i think a younger GGG would have dropped him or had a good chance of a KO.
Would a younger GGG won this fight?

Canelo was 32 in the 3rd fight. Golovkin was older in their 1st fight than 32. You wanna make interesting? Go watch G's demeanor, head movement, skillset, and power at age 32 and match that guy against Canelo. There's a reason why nobody wanted him. -
He arguably did twice at 35/36. I’d confidently predict a prime GGG beats Canelo but unfortunately we’ll never know. Timing is key both inside and outside the ring.Comment

A younger GGG DID win this fight. Twice.
And don't forget that Canelo dropped a belt to duck him over a year before the first fight.
Canelo has been waiting out the clock on GGG for 7 years and it finally worked tonight.Comment

Prime GGG was scared to fight guys like Canelo. He was too busy beating bums and faded former champs. At 29 years old GGG was struggling to KO shot Kassim Ouma. Probably why he fought so many bums afterward.Comment
