The 116-112 card is fair. Canelo started slowing in 6th round and Golovkin picked it up. 7-12 was competitive and it all comes down to what the judges see from their vantage point. I struggle to see the 115-113 though. Golovkin gave the first half of the fight away.

There was a round in the beginning where Golovkin actually landed the more telling shots, even though neither guy threw that many. So 115-113 is conceivable. I mean, that's what my scorecard read, and that's what two judges had, so I think that's pretty accurate.

I'll have to rewatch it with clear eyes and score it. I was really watching most of the fight to see if GGG was gonna get KOed, and then late to see if Canelo was gassed enough for GGG to have a hail mary. I need to count how many rounds Canelo gave away or GGG won by default.
