    He has to because Golovkin happens to hold all the titles and refuses to fight him.

      Hopefully, GGG vacates 160 and then all of the titles will become vacant leaving a power vacuum for Jermall Charlo to unify all the titles.

        Charlo could have fought Andrade, who held a belt. He could have tried to fight Murata when he held a belt. At some point, you have to admit that Charlo is just fighting mandatories. Either that, or PBC isn't promoting him right.

          So basically it looks like Andrade is off and now your hoping Golovkin quits as well so Charlo can try for another belt.

          I can ask if all the top 10 middle weights will quit as well if you want .. a vacuum by definition has nothing in it , he'd be the champion of nothing.

          Getting a couple of belts and losing is better than all of them and dodging everyone in my book. I'd have more respect for him losing to Golovkin than winning all the belts by the back door.

              40 year old Golovkin is better than any opponent Charla sister has ever fought. His cowardly bum ass is scared of Benavidez.

              Is he ever going to fight again or is he going to keep fighting waitresses at Applebee's?

                Back in 2018, both Canelo and Golovkin were ordered to challenge Jermall Charlo and both turned him down. Charlo was Canelo's mandatory challenger for his WBC middleweight title at the time and in order to protect Canelo;

                Mauricio Sulaiman created this bogus Franchise title belt to make easier for Canelo to duck him which he ultimately did. Then subsequently, of that same year; The WBC ordered a final elimination bout between Golovkin and Charlo to see who would challenge Alvarez next for his new WBC Franchise title belt but yet once again GGG ducked him also.

                So if GGG loses tonight and is wise by deciding to prolong his boxing career; Then he would move back down to the middleweight division and challenge Jermall Charlo for the undisputed Middleweight crown in order to avoid a power vacuum at 160 should GGG decides to vacate the division.

                  I can't see why Charlo would want GGG if he loses tonight? If GGG loses, the obvious fight should be David Benavidez, since Canelo wants to rematch Bivol! Now if GGG wins, then of course he should fight him!

                    You're right. I am not dis*****g that Charlo could have fought Andrade and Ryota. However, those fights would have been very difficult to make since they are both fighting on rival networks and platforms.

                    However, if any of those two had decided to come over and fight on the PBC then those fights would have easily happened. Besides, Al Haymon doesn't do business with Matchroom anyhow.

                    He likes to keep everything in house and doesn't allow any of his fighters to fight on other platforms unless it's for a mandatory challenge. So yes, it's the PBC that is holding Jermall Charlo's career back.

                      GGG will still have 2 belts at 160, win or lose tonite. Not sure he will ever go back to 160, though.
