You guys saw the 2 knockdowns right ? How was this remotely close Takam needed a stoppage to win and was easily controlled barring a few rounds . How is one exposed in his 15th fight against a 2 time works challenger is another head scratcher for boxing Scene ?

Takam was always tough and I´m guessing this 261 lbs version of him (even at 41 yo) is really difficult to keep down. Makhmudov is huge but he was just two pounds heavier.. good lesson for the Lion.

Takam did make him look like trash. It's not really debatable. He looked confused, unable to execute what his corner was telling him and spent the whole fight looking to land the right hand, without even trying to set it up. To me, that's trash. He has the look but not the skill.

Yep, Makhmudov is not ready for top guys, not yet. He should fight another gatekeeper. Or rematch Takam.
