Well he has to beat Cotto, otherwise it's a moot point. Lose to Cotto and he'll have very little to negotiate with.

the guy has a huge ego. he's treated like a king over there.

he ain't taking a smaller piece of the pie.

he'll go fight someone else for less money if need be. arum and roach will probably have to scream and beg for him to take even 50/50.
The money he will make in this fight IMO will be way too much for him to walk away from even if hes getting the lesser share

Someone is going to have to put there ego aside on this one

70/30 purse split in Pacquiao's favor is more than fair for Fraud Jr.

If Pac loses to Cotto they'll never fight. Floyd might fight Cotto and get a 65/35 or 70/30 split.

it goes for mayweather as well.

one of them has put their ego aside (or both if it's 50/50)

hopefully the fight gets made. i don't really care who takes the lesser percentage.

              on the contrary.

if pacquiao losses to cotto , the chances of pacquiao-mayweather is even better.

pacquiao will have no choice but to take the lesser amount.

pacquiao would still be a lot more money than anyone else and that matters the most.

True, but with his p4p status gone do you think Floyd will still fight him? Will Pac lose alot of drawing power?

you don't lose drawing power because of a loss.

pacquiao has loss before you know.

I don't know how both fighters will come to an agreement, that's why I have serious doubts the fight will happen.
