Who has more negotiation power - Mayweather or Pacquiao?

We all know the whole point of this tune-up fight was for Floyd to get more negotiation power for the Pacquiao fight. Did he get it? I for one don't think Arum will give Floyd anything more than 50% and this fight will never be made but hopefully I'm wrong.
    51
    Manny Pacquiao
    45.10%
    23
    Floyd Mayweather Jr.
    54.90%

I think Floyd is in a better position simply because there are options for him should he not get Manny in a fight. He can actually fight at welterweight whereas Manny by way of Freddie as hinted that they are not welterweights and thus catchweight fights are the only way he would fight a welter

so with that being the case Mayweather can still fight guys like Mosley or Berto or even a Cotto if he either wins or does well against Manny in November

Manny will probably contemplate a move back to 140 where the fighter star power is much much smaller for him to choose from. Guys like Bradley Urango Alexander and the rest really do not have the same feel as a Mosley or Cotto

Mayweather realizes this and will probably string fighters along before making his choice

True Mayweather has choices but so does Manny for another megafight. In fact they can both fight Mosley. I wonder who Mosley would want to fight more though. Good post btw Eaner.

Thought I'd bump this now that the official numbers are out on the PPV (Even though I think Cotto/Pac will do better)

          pacquiao.

pacquiao is retiring after 1 more fight whether it's floyd or not.

the guy doesn't need the money , he obviously has no money problems and the money he has made will last longer in philippines due to it being cheaper to live wealthy over there.

Then he should have no problem letting Floyd take the bigger share right?

That's true. Which is why I don't think we'll ever see this fight. I don't see Mayweather giving in to Pac on anything, especially the purse.

he'll have a big problem with it.

the guy has a huge ego. he's treated like a king over there.

he ain't taking a smaller piece of the pie.

he'll go fight someone else for less money if need be. arum and roach will probably have to scream and beg for him to take even 50/50.

this fight needs to be made but probably won't be.

neither floyd nor pac will take 50/50 let alone a smaller piece of the pie.

floyd and pac's people will have to work OT just to convince those 2 to take 50/50.
