So because he Faced Marquez a smaller guy after a 21month lay off he only picks on smaller guys?

Well he is comparing himself to ATGs such as Robinson or Leonard, Leonard came back after 3 years to fight the top MW in Hagler, but I guess Floyd is nowhere NEAR as great as Leonard since he can't do that, guess Floyd needs to shut up.Comment

The debate can be framed around the issue in one of two ways:
Floyd is an actual welterweight; and thus big compared to smaller fighters.
Or
The average welterweight (and every weight class for that matter) should be fighting a division or two above it.
The truth is in the middle. Floyd is a legit Welterweight or Junior Welter but that makes him small compared to other WW's.Comment

I don't know.
I guess he has trouble making 140. However, just because he struggles to make 140 doesn't necessarily mean that he is an average sized welterweight. How big of welterweight he is is determined by comparrison to the other welterweights, not how easily he can make 147.Last edited by Derranged; 09-21-2009, 11:47 AM.Comment

Don't change the subject, I know you can't answer the question, but I'll answer yours, yes he lost to Duran, but he avenged his lost, so your statement was irrelevant, besides Duran fought all the top guys in every weight class he moved up in, can the same be said about Floyd? Let me answer the question for you, NO.Comment
