If you draw up how you want your PRIME FIGHTING YEARS to be spent, look no further than GGG's prime

He could have retired at Simon
        That list is suicidal

I certainly won't respect ggg. He is a clout chaser and a cowardly person who avoids tough guys not named canelo.

Respected by whom? I respect both fighters but Canelo will (already has) the greater legacy.

Trust me when I tell you, there are a lot of Canelo vs GGG rivalries in the history of the sport. The most respected, most well-known fighters have a GGG-like opponent in their career. An opponent with a vastly barren resume, avoided by most other famous boxers due to the high risk in fighting him, and with the fanbase of that time overhyping him.

It has happened 1,000 times over. And I guarantee that scenario dates back to boxing’s inception.

Canelo’s resume speaks for him. The guy really fought everyone he was supposed to fight. He will be highly respected when it’s all said and done. Especially because boxing has been, for a long time, heading towards fighters doing everything possible to avoid the best. Canelo doesn’t do that.

You don’t fight Mayweather, Lara, GGG 3x, Bivol, Jacobs, Cotto, Callum Smith, Austin Trout, Sergey Kovalev, Billy Joe Saunders, and supposedly end up getting no respect. That’s BS. And the guy is probably going to end up rematching Bivol even though he had no answer for him and Bivol is clearly too big. All of that takes balls. To have a resume like Canelo’s in this day and age…he clearly shares the same competitive nature as the Hall of Famers right before him…Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez, Cotto. Canelo is undeniably up there with them, he’s a true Hall of Famer already.

Canelo owns GGG’s 0, legacy, and Middleweight titles.
They forever sit on Canelo’s mantle.
Saturday is just the cherry on top.
