Canelo has done a lot of ****** sh it over the course in his career and a lot of the backlash he receives in Mexico is 100% justified.....but he surpassed GGG in terms of legacy even before he first fought GGG.
GGG is by far the biggest hype job of the 21st century. Spent his whole career at Middleweight with many defenses, albeit 1 belt being a mickey mouse belt, and has a very lack luster resume to show for it. No notable HOF defining victories. And had to leech off of the Mexican fanbase thanks to his former Mexican trainer, then fires him because he doesn't want to pay the him what he deserved for building GGG.
