They did things properly with Canelo, talking to him and his team, negotiating all the terms of the deal till he was happy with it.

With AJ, Wilder made the $50million offer over social media and Finkel refused to meet with his team or tell him anything about the terms of the deal unless he accepted it first, which he was never going to do.

The only people who still run around with the 50 million 24-hour deadline verbal (look up NY and verbal contracts) contract are affiliated with the lames over at LDBC.

Now they want to fight, after they've both been knocked out.

Leave Joshua, he has a potentially huge fight with Fury, there's no bigger fight for him than that.

Yea right. The guy asked for 50 million thinking they can't produce said amount but they did. We know they even send financial confirmation according to Hearn which he denied initially but we all know by now that those two things did happen. I don't recall them telling him at least in the mentions that he needed to accept it right away but Yes they refused meetings because Hearn was planting lies in the media, so Yes I won't meet with a liar who spins everything to favor his side. Am not even a Wilder fan but it was clear Wilder wanted the fight more than AJ at that time.

Oh yes, the money Frank Warren confirmed would be coming from BT Sport - a rival network of Sky - that has never done any business with Matchroom or AJ.

I'm happy to provide a source.

Confirming the money was not the problem. The problem was that Finkel wouldn't send AJ a contract or any details of the terms he had to accept to get the money and they wouldn't meet with him to discuss the terms.

Do you think Canelo would have accepted the Plant fight if PBC had treated him like that?

PBC: "No, we won't tell you anything about the terms unless you accept the offer first. No, we won't send you a contract. No, we won't tell you anything about the date or venue of the fight. No, we won't meet with you or your representative until the offer has been accepted. Take it or leave it."

                      Canelo: "Fuck you, puto!"
