I do respect both guys, two of the best pound for pound for the past what, five to eight years or so.

Canelo gets criticised here and there, but which other super middleweight would go up and fight a tricky champion in Bivol? That takes cojones.

Not even close but nice try. He didn’t avoid ped testing he just thought he was smart enough to beat them and didn’t, before y’all start the bullshhh excuses about Mexican beef make sure you have excuses lined up for the other half dozen fighters under reynoso to pop dirty. Yeah let’s not even put manny and Saul in the same sentence. One is a bonafide legend who fought the greats of his era. The other one is a babied diva that failed a test and gets mad he’s reminded he did. Also, they’re common opponents, pacquiap performed better against every single last one of them. Now you can put your Canelo bib back on so you don’t get his nut all over your shirt.

Canelo has done VADA testing more times, in his prime, than Pacquiao ever did.

        Fact.

It would look pretty bad if he didn't, even though he still cancelled at one point, which never looks good. That's like praising someone doing more community service than someone else after they got caught for a crime.

Pacquiao was suspect and he didn't test a lot in his prime.

Canelo was suspect and he tested a lot afterwards, in his prime.

Pacquiao definitely comes off looking worse here. No two ways about it.

You can say whomever was suspect but Canelo was still the one who failed. And he gets praised for testing afterwards because that's exactly what be happening? Still don't know why him cancelling VADA before a fight gets glossed over. Do you realize how sketchy that looks when he had just used it against Khan at 155 but not at 154 against Smith?

Pacquiao walked away from the biggest fight in history, when both guys were close to prime, because he wouldn't drug test.

Canelo had a reasonable excuse with clenbuterol being in Mexican meat which is a real thing. Entire soccer teams have tested positive for clean while in Mexico. He has used VADA multiple times since and never had an adverse result.

Pac is suspect and far less tested. His career is sketchier than Canelo if we go by your standards.

I don't give a **** about what Pacquiao did or didn't do. You're praising Canelo for testing, which is exactly what he should be doing given what happened. Do you think if he never tested positive, he would continuously test before every fight? or would he cancel here and there? Nothing stopped Canelo from being a Donaire and willingly do random 365 but that never happened.

I really don't know about Canelo having a reasonable excuse here, we are talking about the number 1 draw in boxing at the time and still is to this day. This guys gets paid millions upon millions and your going to tell me that he cant buy good "beef "???

I can understand the soccer team due to the shear number of athletes (players) that they have and there budget they probably skimped out but Canelo is 1 man.

Regardless of what is going on in Mexico and there "meat problems" Canelo and his team knew about the "meat problem" and didn't do his due diligence to negate that and that's a fact.

you cant then complain about GGG talking about your failed test. you failed the test GGG didn't do anything other then say you failed the test which is fact. I don't understand why some Canelo's fans (and I became a fan later on after he started to challenge himself)act like GGG is talking mess when its fact.
